Dog Treats

Today Matt taught Nora how to give the dog a treat. Consequently half of her dinner ended up on the floor for Niles to eat. She would peak over her highchair and watch him lick everything up. I think Niles made a new best friend!

Last week Nora walked all the way to the bathroom for bath time by herself. Matt just called her along the way. She also started to venture off around the house when she gets bored. A few times it has been to the cat's water bowl. 

She also started to share her food. She loves to feed me or Grandma. Though sometimes she pretends to share and ends up keeping the food for herself. She likes to eat whatever we are eating which makes us eat very healthy and I love it!

Oh and tooth number two broke through. It's her top right one.

Needless to say my baby is hardly a baby anymore :(

Pumpkin Patch Time

We took Nora to her first pumpkin patch on Sunday at our local farm Ardenwood. It was a bit breezy and there was a lot of people there. She kept on slapping the pumpkins with both of her hands and being super cute (like always). This girl really just keeps making me fall more and more in love with her. We ended up coming home with a butternut squash and two tiny pumpkins for Nora to play with.

Montara Beach Trip.

A few weekends ago we went to HMB for a beach day. We have to leave before Nora's first nap which is about an hour or hour and a half after she wakes up so we get there early. It was cool at first and then warmed up nicely. I love watching her at the beach. She plays with the sand nonstop! I mean she does not stop playing the whole time she is there. She is such a beach baby and I love it! Maybe we should think about moving to Kauai where the water is warm!

Ooopsie...

How did I let so much time go in between posting? Every time life gets busy I forget to document! So here is the month update...

Nora is officially walking! Or more like running. She started walking at about 9.5 months. It started with one or two steps then progressed to 4 or 5 steps and now I can't keep up with her!

Her first tooth broke through September 2nd. It is about half way up and is a sharp little tooth!

She is also saying "ma-ma-ma-ma" and "pa-pa-pa-pa-pa". Sometimes she says mama and papa but I don't think she knows what they mean yet. There's also "baba" and other coos and Yoda noises that she makes. All very adorable and melt my heart!

Sleep wise we have gone backwards again. I feel like every time things start looking up and I see a light at the end of the tunnel (or sleep in my case) they end up spiraling down fast! She was waking up once a night and it was so nice. I don't know if it was teething or a growth spurt but she was waking up every 2 hours. And she decided to hate her crib. She never had a problem with it before. I was able to put her in her crib or have her sleep with us. But all the sudden she decided she hates it now. She just starts screaming when I put her in it. And non stop, too!

 Yup, this 9.5 month old can longboard all by herself.
