Photo Time

Here are some random photos from March. Looking at my blog I've realized that photos are one of my favorite things about it. Seeing how Nora gets smaller and smaller as I read backwards. It's bittersweet, they really do grow fast!

4 Months of Nora

On Wednesday Nora turned 4 months old!

My little lady is growing too fast for my liking! I feel like she should be about 4 weeks old right now. She continues to melt my heart all the time. Everyday there is something new that she learns. She is so alert in everything she does. The looks she has are so wise, like her little brain is taking everything in and comprehending it.

She is already sucking on her toes, sitting up with a straight back (and some help from me) and talking all the time. I love seeing her smile and hearing her giggle. Sleep training is in the works. She is getting better but that is a whole other post I plan on writing.

I'm thinking of starting her on solids to see how she does since she always watching me eat and trying to grab everything I'm eating.

I feel like before I know it I will be writing her 5 month post!

Simple Things Sunday: HappinesS

This week we've been trying to sleep train little Nora. It has been very rough, to say the least. I've been beyond exhausted, but we're starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel (it's very small but we're getting there).

I was getting her ready for a walk the other day and she was being super smiley and happy. And like a little reminder that I needed her sweatshirt says "be happy". Now looking at this adorable little lady and seeing this little reminder, how could I not be happy? I have the an amazing baby girl that I wouldn't trade for the world. I was instantly reminded of what is important (enjoying her), that this will soon pass, and she will soon be falling asleep on her own (and I will probably miss her needing me to fall asleep).

It really is the simple things in life that make everyday so special. Even if it is just a few words written on a sweatshirt of a cute little almost 4 month old.

Today

I've been peed, pood and spit up on.

I wonder if I will ever miss these days!

In March

I hope to accomplish lots of things, including:

• Do something fun for Matt's 1st birthday as a Papa.
• Spend lots of time playing with Nora (of course).
• Teach her to sleep through the night with out using the cry it out method (fingers crossed).
• Plant a garden so I can make her home made baby food in the summer.
• Continue breastfeeding.
• Not shop for clothes (sounds easy but if you know me it's not!).

Here's Little Miss Nora grabbing her toes. She learned to grab them this week. Currently, she mostly grabs her left foot most the time but I remind her about her right one.
