Capitola

On Saturday we went to Capitola. What we thought was going to be a gloomy day turned into a beautiful day at the beach. We enjoyed delicious gyros, went to the O'Neill sidewalk sale (where we spent way too much money) and, of course, hung out on the beach. 

Nora is such a beach baby! I love it! She plays in the sand non stop, tries to eat it and throws it on the blanket. She also loves the water. 

Another Beach Trip

One of the main reasons I love summer is, of course, beach trips!! And for how close we live it kind of makes me sad how little we go. We went again a few weeks ago. This time it was just us and our nephew Landon. It was a little (a lot) chillier than the last time we went but we still had a fun time. Matt and Landon built a fort, Nora and I lounged around and we found a crab. All in all, it was a pretty successful trip!

beach time

Two weeks ago we got some friends together and headed to the beach. It was cold and ugly in Fremont so we thought it was going to be the same at the beach, but it was beautiful! I feel like it always happens that way. Of course I didn't bring a swim suit and was stuck in my jeans. Nora had a blast! She played in the sand and with the puppies the whole time. The boys built a fort out of drift wood (Matt being the carpenter that he is made is nice and sturdy!). It was a great day!
