Simple Things Sunday: HappinesS

This week we've been trying to sleep train little Nora. It has been very rough, to say the least. I've been beyond exhausted, but we're starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel (it's very small but we're getting there).

I was getting her ready for a walk the other day and she was being super smiley and happy. And like a little reminder that I needed her sweatshirt says "be happy". Now looking at this adorable little lady and seeing this little reminder, how could I not be happy? I have the an amazing baby girl that I wouldn't trade for the world. I was instantly reminded of what is important (enjoying her), that this will soon pass, and she will soon be falling asleep on her own (and I will probably miss her needing me to fall asleep).

It really is the simple things in life that make everyday so special. Even if it is just a few words written on a sweatshirt of a cute little almost 4 month old.

  1. she's precious and what a beautiful smile. hang in there with the sleep training. she will get it.

  2. what a cutie!!! that's a great shot! love her little jacket too! :)

  3. Oh she is absolutely precious! My son struggled with sleep training. But one day..even after I had completely given up..he just went out on his own, and then the next day and the next. I truly believe it is when they are ready. Coaxing doesn't hurt, but don't get discouraged if she doesn't. Just know she will when she is ready:)
